Meet Sandra


Sandra Jenkins MNZM

Facilitator Extraordinaire

Sandra is recognized both nationally and internationally as a successful education leader.

She was recipient of the New Zealand member of New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2020 Queens Birthday Honours, which recognized her contribution to education in New Zealand.

She has several other national awards for her contribution to education and other communities.

Sandra has significant knowledge and experience of leadership in the education sector. Including experience as a principal in rural and city schools, change leader in a range of contexts, coach and mentor. Sandra is able draw on her wide range of experiences to support school leaders. She is able to build relationships and high trust quickly and support change in transforming education delivery.

She engages with and energizes school leaders and teams to re-imagine learning and motivate.

Sandra is also lead Facilitator for the International Pathway Project for Planning Learning Spaces in New Zealand. She works collaboratively with educators to help them design their learning spaces to ensure that pedagogy and space align with the school vision for learning.

Sandra uses a collaborative model to influence change strategically at both a local and system level.
